Former Secretary to Edo State Government and a chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party in the state, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu has been projected to pick the parry’s governorship nomination at its primary election currently holding at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium in Benin City.
The primary is presided over by the chairman of the party’s nomination committee and governor of Ebonyi State, his Excellency Dave Umahi.
As at the time of filing this report, two other aspirants, Hon Mathew Iduoiyekemwen and Solomon Edebiri received 91 and 38 votes respectively.
