Former President Jonathan Warns APC, Vows To Resist Intimidation

Abuja, Nigeria – Former President of Nigeria, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan, has warned President Muhammadu Buhari led All Progressives Congress (APC) Federal Government and its leaders to never again intimidate the leaders and members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

The ex-President also told President Buhari and members of the APC of his party’s readiness for a showdown with the ruling party.

Jonathan who was speaking today during PDP National non-election convention, holding at the Eagle Square, Abuja said enough is enough.

Flanked by his former Vice, Namadi Sambo, he declared that the PDP was now ready to kick out the APC out of Aso Rock villa in 2019, and as such the party and its members were no longer afraid of intimidation.

“I want to send a strong warning to the Buhari-led APC, never again to intimidate the PDP members, because the opposition party is ready to take over power. We won’t be afraid of any intimidation.”

Jonathan who spoke amidst the cheering crowd, said that PDP during its sixteen years in power, was able to take Nigeria to a greater height.

”With PDP, there will be no more hunger, no poverty, no joblessness, because we have creative minds who can turn things around. I believe in PDP, and God also believes in PDP. I repeat, no PDP member should be intimidated, because we will resist it. God Is with us.”
