Premier Edo organization in the Diaspora, the Edo National Association Worldwide (ENAW) has joined millions of Edo sons and daughters, and other sympathizers around the world to honor and reflect on the passing of His Royal Majesty, Omo N’Oba N’Edo Uku Akpolokpolo, Oba Erediauwa of the Great Benin kingdom.

In a condolence message, signed by its President, Elder Franklin Omoruna and Secretary General, Prince Victor Ehue, the Association described Oba Erediauwa as a King, whose mediating and leadership skills as Chairman of Edo State Traditional Council, underscored the peace, tranquility and progress that were enjoyed by all the people of Edo State during his reign.

“We at Edo National Association Worldwide pray that the same peace, progress and tranquility will prevail during the reign of his son, Prince Eheneden Erediauwa, the current Edaiken of Uselu.”

Oba Erediauwa has been the Oba of Benin kingdom since 1978 where he was the traditional ruler and Father of all Edo sons and daughters, the statement noted.
