Governorship hopeful in the 2016 governorship in Edo State, Pharm. Chris Iyare has commended Comrade Adams oshiomhole in taking the state to a new height in infrastructure development.
Iyare, who said Oshiomhole’s government had done well in building roads in the state, however, noted that if given the opportunity to govern the state, he would work hard to sustain the developmental strides of the present government and improve upon them.
Iyare made this assertion during a lunch interactive session in his honour in Benin City, weekend.
According to him: “We know there are other challenges in our state such as youth unemployment, road and other infrastructural decay, but I will strive to improve upon them. This government led by Comrade Adams Oshiohmole had done tremendously well in the area of infrastructure”
Pharm. Iyare, who declared his intention for the governorship race recently, said his dream of becoming the governor of Edo State started in 2012, saying it was borne out of his passion for the service of the people of Edo State.(Vanguard)
