Edo State Government has declared Thursday, February 5 and Friday, February 6, 2015 as work-free days to enable eligible voters collect their Permanent Voters’ Cards (PVC) for the General elections holding later this month.

In a statement released by the Chief Press Secretary to Governor Adams Oshiomhole, Mr. Peter Okhiria, the government said:

“It is expected that Edo people who are yet to collect their voter’s card will do so during the period of the 2-day work-free days.

We also expect the Independent National Electoral Commission to use this opportunity to attend to eligible voters who are yet to collect their PVCs.”
