Elder statesman Dr. Tunji Braithwaite is dead. The 82-year-old lawyer died this morning at St. Nicholas Hospital in Lagos. His son, Olumide, who confirmed his demise, told our correspondent in a telephone conversation the elder statesman died after a brief illness.
