EFCC Arrests 59 Internet Fraud Suspects In Abuja

Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Abuja Zonal Directorate, on Monday, February 24, 2025 arrested 59 suspected internet fraudsters.

According to a statement released by Dele Oyewale, Head, Media & Publicity of the anti-graft Agency, they were arrested at Abacha Road, Mararaba axis of Nasarawa state following credible intelligence about their suspected involvement in fraudulent internet activities.

He said the items recovered from them included 73 phones of different brands and that the suspects will be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded.
