Members of Oloke Family USA – one of Great Benin most prominent families in Edo State of Nigeria, begin their annual family reunion in Boston Massachusetts on Friday August 12, 2022, after more than one year of disruption by the COVID-19 lockdown.
The reunion which will officially be declared open on Saturday August 13, 2022, is taking place at the Holiday Inn in Tewksbury, Massachusetts and will end on Sunday, the 14th.
According to host members, Ms. Francisca Moses and Prince Emmanuel Okunmwendia, the organization’s Chairman, Dr. Osahon Ukponmwan, and President, Mr. Robby Ogieva Igodan will preside over the event.
The purpose of the reunion, they said is to celebrate family values, strengthen bond, know and interact with one another.
Members will be coming from within and outside the United States of America.
Activities lined up include, meet and greet by family members on Friday evening, followed by family picnic and gala night on Saturday.
