Senate Refers Buhari’s Consumer Protection Nominees To Committee On Trade, Investment

Nigeria’s Senate on Tuesday referred President Muhammadu Buhari’s request, seeking the confirmation of nominees to the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission Tribunal to its Committee on Trade and Investment.

The nominees who are expected to appear for screening before the Committee, include former Speaker of the Edo Stare Assembly, and Edo APC Chieftain, Rt Hon Thomas Okosun (South South). 

Others are Mrs. Sadatu Mama Shafi, (North Central), who is Chairman nominee, George Chukwuma Mbonu, Member (South East) and Umar Dauda Duhu (North East).

Others are Ibrahim El-Yakubu (North West); Mrs. Sola Salako Ajulo (South West); and Kenneth Tersoo Gyado (North Central).
