Edo 2020: Academics, Technocrats To Screen Obaseki, Ize-iyamu, Others

The All Progressives Congress on Monday inaugurated its screening and appeals committee to scrutinise documents submitted by the Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki, his main challenger, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu, and four other aspirants ahead of the June 22, 2020, APC governorship primary.

National Chairman of the APC, Adams Oshiomhole, while inaugurating the committees charged members to be dispassionate in their assignments and ensure that the sad incident which led to the loss of the party in Bayelsa State does not repeat itself.

The screening committee has Prof. Jonathan Ayuba as chairman while Dr. Rabe Nafiu will serve as secretary.

The screening appeal committee has Prof. Abubakar Fari as its chairman and Dr. Daniel Wala as the secretary.
