Edo State Governor, Mr. Godwin Obaseki has commiserated with the Founder of Silverbird Group and former lawmaker representing Bayelsa East Senatorial District, Senator Ben Murray-Bruce, over the passing of his wife, late Mrs. Evelyn Murray-Bruce, who died aged 67.
The governor, in a statement, said the news of her demise was saddening, praying that God comforts her husband, children and other members of the Murray-Bruce family.
He said, “It was with a heavy heart that I received the news of the passing of Mrs. Evelyn Murray-Bruce, wife to businessman and former lawmaker representing Bayelsa East Senatorial District, Senator Ben Murray-Bruce.
“Her death is saddening as she left us at the age of 67 after a brave fight against cancer. We salute her indomitable spirit and celebrate her for the good ideals she stood for while she lived.”
The governor extended his heartfelt condolences to the Murray-Bruce family, praying that God grants them the fortitude to bear the loss.
