Edo Govt Drops Major Loye As Permanent Secretary

Edo State Government has removed Major Lawrence Loye (Rtd) from office as Permanent Secretary in the Public Service of the State with immediate effect.
This was contained in a memo issued to Major Lawrence Loye signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Osarodion Ogie Esq, made available to newsmen in Benin City during the week.
The memo reads in part, “I write to inform you that His Excellency, the Governor has approved your removal from office as Permanent Secretary in the Public Service of the State with immediate effect.”
According to the memo, Major Loye, “is required to kindly hand over all Government properties in his possession to the most Senior Director” in his ministry and the memo also convenes the State Government’s best wishes to him in his future endeavors.
Until his removal, Major Lawrence Loye (Rtd) was the Permanent Secretary in the state Ministry of Transport.
