Edo Election: Protest Trails Election Result Announcement In Benin

Protesters from Esan West and Esan East local government areas are protesting at the Independent National Electoral Commission’s Office in Benin, where collation of results of Wednesday’s governorship election in the state is ongoing.

They are demading that INEC to stop the announcement of the Edo election results from Esan West and Esan East local government areas. Reports aslso have it that there was a back and forth between INEC officials and party official over results of Oredo LGA.
