Okpebholo Suspends Life Stock Commissioner, Prof Ikponmwosa, Project Coordinator, Betsy Aghaku

Governor Monday Okpebholo of Edo State, has suspended from office, the state Commissioner for Livestock Development, Prof. Omorodion Ignatius Ikponmwosa and the State Project Coordinator, Livestock Productivity and Resilience Support (LPRES) Project, Mrs. Ikpikhumi Betsy Aghaku,

A statement signed and released today by the Secretary to the State Government, Umar Musa Ikhilor, Esq., said they were suspended over an official infraction.

According to the statement, the suspended officials are directed to hand over all official documents, records, and other government property in their possession relating to the LPRES Project to the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Livestock Development, with immediate effect.

“They are further directed to report to the Office of the Secretary to the State Government for a comprehensive debriefing on the LPRES Project.”
