Rockets Fired From Lebanon Toward Northern Israel After Ceasefire Announced, Says IDF

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said Thursday it was preparing for rocket fire from Lebanon, with a current focus on northern Israel, following recent ceasefire developments.

The IDF continued to conduct ongoing situational assessments. At this stage, there is no change in Home Front Command guidelines, it said.

The military emphasized that any changes to civilian instructions will be communicated in an orderly and timely manner.

Since the ceasefire announcement, made by President Donald Trump, several rockets have been launched from Lebanon toward northern Israel, according to the IDF.

Magen David Adom (MDA) teams have been dispatched to multiple locations following the launches.

The ceasefire is aimed at halting hostilities between Israel and Hezbollah, operating from Lebanon.
