The projects inspected include the Uromi–Agbor Road, Ukpenu Road, Ujoelen Road and Illeh Road.
Okpebholo, who was accompanied by government officials and contractors handling the projects, assessed the level of work done and urged the contractors to ensure quality delivery in line with approved specifications.
Speaking during the inspection, the governor said the visit was part of the state government’s strategy to closely monitor ongoing projects and ensure they are completed within the stipulated timeframe.
He reiterated his administration’s commitment to improving road infrastructure across Edo State to enhance connectivity and support economic activities in various communities.
Contractors at the various sites briefed the governor on the progress of work and assured him that the projects would be completed as scheduled.
The road projects form part of the ongoing infrastructure development initiatives of the Edo State Government aimed at improving transportation and easing movement for residents in Edo Central and adjoining areas.
