The final results of the 30 local government areas were announced by INEC officials at the INEC headquarters in Osogbo, the Osun State capital, early on Sunday.

Although a final tally of the results is still being done as of the time of this report, a PREMIUM TIMES review of the declared results shows that Mr Adeleke has over 60,000 more votes than his closest challenger, Bola Oyebamiji.
