The two critical projects the state Governor Monday Okpebholo wants the House to investigate are Radisson Blu Hotels and Museums for West Africa Arts, MOWAA.

The letter as sighted by Alltimepost.com correspondent, directed the House to invite the respective contractors handling the projects and any other office/body connected with the projects to ascertain their statuses and Edo State government’s stake in each of the projects.

The letter reads: “I write at the instance of His Excellency, the Governor of Edo State, Senator Monday Okpebholo to request the House to carry out a thorough oversight investigation of two critical ongoing projects in the same initiated by the last Administration.

“The Speaker will recall that at the inception of this Administration. His Excellency, the Governor set up the Assets Verification Committee with a mandate to primarily assess, verify and document the status of all Edo State Government assets and liabilities as at 11 November, 2024.

“Based on the report of the Committee. The government saw the need for the House of Assembly to investigate two critical projects which the State Government is believed to have stakes in.
