The President of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio, has revealed that the lifespan of the 2024 budget will be extended to June 25, 2025.
He gave the hint Wednesday in Abuja during the presentation of the 2025 Appropriation Bill by President Bola Tinubu to the joint session of the National Assembly.
President Bola Tinubu had arrived at the National Assembly at about 12:55pm to present the N47.9 trillion 2025 Appropriation Bill for consideration and passage.
He said: “The 2024 budget performance was 50 per cent for Capital Expenditure and 48 per cent for Recurrent.”
