Edo State Governor, Mr. Godwin Obaseki, has urged Nigerians to extend love to one another as they celebrate the yuletide season.
The governor made the call in his Boxing Day message.
He said, “I send heartfelt greetings and best wishes to everyone as we celebrate Boxing Day. I urge everyone to reflect on the importance of sharing and extending a hand of love and support to friends and neighbours this season.”
Obaseki noted, “It is my prayer that the charity and sacrifice which is the core of the celebration will continue to foster love and unity among us all and bring forth more blessings for the people of Edo State and all Nigerians.”
“May the spirit of the celebration remain with us even after the season. Happy Boxing Day,” he added.
