A 24-year-old lady has reported to police in Ekpoma town that two young men slept with her in a bush instead of the hotel as they earlier bargained.
The lady (name withheld) also told the police that the two boys after taking turns to have marathon sex, collected her Infinix phone, power bank, phone charger and transferred the sum of N19, 600.00 from her Opay account to one of their accounts.
She stated that the two fun-seeking men had approached her in front of a club in Ekpoma town on October 27, 2023 and solicited for her company in a hotel, as they settled for N25,000.00 that night.
The boys instead of taking her to the agreed hotel to have uninterrupted fun in a cosy atmosphere, took her to mosquitoes-occupied bush at Okopoji where they unleashed evil on her.
The Public Relations Officer for Edo State Police Command SP Chidi Nwabuzor said the police responded swiftly to the lady’s complaints and arrested the two young men.
“Immediately operatives of Ekpoma Division swung into action and arrested the two suspects, (1) Marvelous Imiefoh ‘M’, age 20 years, and (2) Uwaghele Samuel John ‘M’, age 24 years.
“The suspects made statement and confessed to the crime. Items recovered from them are; one Infinix phone and the sum of N19,600.00 belonging to the victim. They will soon be charged to court”, SP Nwabuzor said.
Speaking with our correspondent at the state police command headquarters in Benin last week, the two suspects admitted the crime.
“We didn’t kidnapp her, actually we bargained, but we took the girl to a nearby bush, we slept with her there, collected her things and money. We were not having money for hotel room, in fact, our offense is sleeping with her in the bush instead of hotel. I don’t know what came over us”, the suspects said.
Investigation by our correspondent revealed that operatives of gender unit at the command headquarters in Benin took the suspects to court on November 8th, and they were remanded.
