Members of the Oloke Family USA, one of Great Benin most prominent families in Edo State of Nigeria, are converging in Oak Lawn, a suburb of the Windy City of Chicago, Illinois for the commencement, today August 11, 2023, of their annual reunion.
The reunion which will officially be declared open on Saturday August 12, 2023, is taking place at the Hilton Chicago/Oak Lawn 9333 South Cicero Avenue, Oak Lawn, Illinois in the United States of America.
The organization’s Chairman, Dr. Osahon Ukponmwan, and President, Mr. Robby Ogieva Igodan will preside over the event which ends on Sunday August 13th, 2023.
In a press statement, the President, Mr. Robby Igodan said the purpose of the reunion is to celebrate family values, strengthen bond, know and interact with one another.
Members will be coming from within and outside the United States of America.
Activities lined up include, meet and greet by family members on Friday evening, followed by family picnic and gala night on Saturday. The Picnic will take place at the Buffalo Woods Picnic Grove-North, Willow Street Illinois.
