Breaking: Esogban Of Benin Kingdom Joins His Ancestors

Benin City, Edo, Nigeria – Chief David Uyunmwun Edebiri, the Esogban of Benin Kingdom, has joined his Ancestors, just less than two months before his 94th birthday in September.

He succumbed to the will of God at a private hospital in Benin City, about 12:30pm, today, according to family sources. 

“He has not been too strong and we took him to the hospital a few days ago and he died this afternoon, the family will follow the protocols for the formal announcement to be made,” a family member said.
