Police Service Commission: Benin Indigenous People’s Assembly Celebrates Arase As Exceptional Leader, Salutes Buhari

Members of the Benin Indigenous People’s Assembly (BIPA), a Pan-Benin Socio-Cultural-Political group have described one of their Patrons, and newly sworn-in Chairman of the Police Service Commission (PSC), Dr. Solomon Ehigiator Arase, CFR, as an exceptional Leader and Super Cop.

BIPA also praised President Muhammadu Buhari, for finding Arase, a former Nigeria’s Inspector General of Police, worthy to earn the position.

The group praised Arase for his professionalism and especially his role as community leader.

In a congratulatory message sent to the new PSC Chairman, titled: “Congratulations to Dr. Solomon Ehigiator Arase, an Outstanding Community Leader and Role Model”, BIPA wrote: “We salute an exceptional Nigerian leader, mentor and role-model of whom many strive to emulate.

“It is with extreme gratitude that we thank His Excellency, Muhammadu Buhari, President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Nigeria for yet again, identifying your professional experience as a super cop, to rework the Nigerian Police Force.

“Your appointment as Chairman, Police Service Commission (PSC) will serve as a reminder of the vast appreciation that Nigerians have for you.”

They added that, as Benins, “it is with pride we say congratulations with our most sincere hearts.”

BIPA is made up of high-profile professionals, cutting across different spectrum.

In the press release signed by Hon Orobosa Omo-Ojo JP, Secretary General of BIPA, several notable Benin men and women were listed as members, including His Excellency, Chief John Odigie Oyegun, His Excellency Chief Lucky Nosakhare Igbinedion, Engr. (Dr.) Chris Ogiemwonyi, Gen Godwin Abbe (rtd), Princess (Dr.) Rosemary Osula Atu-Mku and Dr. Osahon Enabulele.

Others are Osa Director Esq, Dr. Patrick Okundia, Rasky Gbinigie Esq, Eric Osagie, SB Osagie, Engr. Elvis Obaseki, Engr. Osa Owieadolor and Lady Ede Agho George.

Dr. Ehimwenma Idubor, Hon. Sunny Aguebor, Peter Igbinedion, Frank Noble Oghede, Kede Aihie Esq, Peter Okundaye, Prof. Osaretin Aigbovo, Osahon Osemwota, Emmanuel Okunmwendia and Hon. Chris Nehikhare are all members of BIPA.
