‘Obidients’ Must Resist All Forms Of Intimidation – Campaign Spokesman

Comrade Igbotako Nowinta, Chairman, Media & Publicity Committee of Labour Party Presidential Campaign Council in Edo State has called on members of the Obidient Movement home and abroad to resist all forms of intimidation by any group.

Nowinta made the call while speaking to journalists in his office in Benin City, Edo State on Thursday as the 2023 presidential election draws closer.

He said: “We have reached a cross road in this country, and members of the Obidient political family must see themselves as uncommon nationalists, that must forge ahead like a moving train, to smash to pieces any form of political intimidation.

” What transcends in our country today reminds me of the struggle for independence in Nigeria; we must look unblinkingly face to face with promoters of hideous rhetorics and dangerous political sentiments; those who have become a tool for retrogressive forces and men of yesteryears must be identified and made irrelevant; we must continue to overwhelm them with our daily constant door to door campaigns.

“As we move towards February 25th, 2023 presidential election, those who have abused power, frustrated our commonwealth, created socio- economic chaos, and downplayed our national greatness, must be rejected at the polls.

“Obidients must never allow themselves to be intimidated anywhere in the country; we must reclaim Nigeria with Peter Obi as the ultimate vehicle.
