Obasanjo Endorsement: Atiku, Tinubu’s Spokespersons Are Promiscuous Desperadoes – Obi Campaign

Edo Chapter of the Media & Publicity Committee of Peter Obi Presidential Campaign Council has described the spokespersons for Atiku Abubakar and Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Presidential Campaigns as promiscuous desperadoes.

In a press release, signed by Comrade Igbotako Nowinta and Jude Adoghe, Chairman and Secretary, respectively, Obi’s Campaign supported the recent endorsements of Peter Obi for the 2023 Presidential Election, by General Olusegun Obasanjo, Chief Edwin Clark and Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue State.

In the press statement, which emanated from the January 4, 2023, stakeholders meeting held by the Committee in its headquarters in Benin City, the Campaign said the following:

“For the purpose of putting records straight, the Media & Publicity Committee, PCC Edo State, views the recent endorsements by General Olusegun Obasanjo, Chief Edwin Clark, Samuel Ortom etc, as an actualization of generational and paradigmatic shift in social acceptance of a presidential candidate in Nigeria.

“The Atiku Abubakar and Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s stooges trying to play down or ridicule this perfect position taken in favour of Peter Obi, are only show casing themselves as promiscuous desperadoes demonstrating sufficient appetite for propaganda, slogans and lies.

“It is very clear that the likes of Atiku Abubakar and Bola Ahmed Tinubu have cupboards full of skeletons, and have become like a choking sand and dust to the largest numbers of the electorates in Nigeria today, unlike Peter Obi who has demonstrated the greatest nationalistic fervour, to help Nigerians claim back their country.

“The fact of the matter is that Peter Obi has a steady and strong political romance with the Nigerian youths nay the masses; so no mountain of misinformation can overwhelm or extinguish the torrential acceptance for the presidential candidate of the Labour Party ( LP)

“We want to state clearly that no amount of lies and propaganda can crush the will of Nigerian people, who are facing a stew of pressing issues like fuel scarcity, imaginable inflationary trend, palpable insecurity, untold impoverishment etc.

“We are therefore using this medium to call on all members of the Obidient movement in Nigeria, and in diaspora, to remain focused and ever determined, to continue with the ongoing house to house campaigns, towards delivering Peter Obi in February, 2023.

“Peter Obi remains the common sense in our political diary and a concrete content of a true darling of the people.
