Ondo Church Attack Victims’ Funeral Under Way

The funeral service for victims of the June 5 terror  attack on  St Francis Catholic Church, Owo is currently ongoing.

 The event is being held at the Conference Hall of Mydas Hotel, along Owo-Ikare expressway, in Owo Local Government Area of Ondo State.

THISDAY reported that 40 persons out of the 127 involved in the attack were killed, leaving 61 survivors currently on admission in different hospitals and 26 already discharged.
The mass burial will follow immediately after the service of songs.Ondo State Governor, Mr Oluwarotimi Akeredolu (SAN), top government functionaries, royal fathers, Bishops including Dr Mathew Kukah, are some of the dignitaries at the event.
