Newly Deployed Police Commissioner Assumes Duty In Edo

Benin City – Recently posted commissioner of police to Edo State CP Abutu Yaro assumed duty in Benin City on Monday as the 44th commissioner of police in Edo State.

He succeeded CP Philip Ogbadu who retired from the Nigeria Police Force, last month.

CP Abutu Yaro pledged to discharge his duty in the state with utmost professionalism, soliciting the cooperation of members of the public towards effective and efficient policing.

He has served in several capacities which include former CP Imo and Zamfara States.

Prior to his recent deployment to Edo State, he was the CP Provost Marshal, Force Headquarters, Abuja.
