#Soba, Edo-born Pop Star Mike Super’s 8 Tracker Hits Airwaves

An indigene of Oghada town in Uhunmwode local government area of Edo State by the stage name Mike Super is set to join the ranks of Nigerian pop music crooners like Burna Boy and Wizkid, with his new song #Soba. The hit track in his second album titled, ‘Mature.’

The 8-tracker has among others, such hit songs like #soba which has taken the airwaves by storm and has become the talk of music clubs, discotheques and nightclubs on the West African coast.

The album released in 2019 after Mikon Super’s debut in 2009 has all, but track 2 produced by ace producer Family Sounds and was mixed and mastered by the famoud Dangigy.

Mikon Super, also called Mikon Star, whose real names are Unuagbon Michael speaking on the heels of an upcoming international concert in Benin City, the Edo State capital said that he is proud to be an Edolite and committed to winning the Grammy to make the country and state proud.

The Political Science and Social Studies graduate of the Delta State College of Education Agbor, who said he was born on March 27 1986 and brought up in Igbanke and Agbor in Delta State added that right now he is busy working on some more hit singles.

He said, “My songs are not only in audio as mp3 abd CDs but in video formats. My videos are done by Cletus popularly called _abd and are all over the social media platforms like Instagram, twitter and Facebook as well as on the YouTube channel, Mikon star.”

He has therefore appealed to all music lovers to support his efforts by savoring his music and enjoy the finesse that went into the production, adding that Edo is the home of entertainment as the cradle of civilization. #
