Eidel-Kabir: Oba of Benin Urges Muslims To Pray For Buhari, Obaseki, Other Nigerian Leaders

His Royal Majesty, Omo N’Oba N’Edo Uku Akpolokpolo, Ewuare II Oba of Great Benin Kingdom has urged all Muslim faithful to use this special period to pray for President Muhammadu Buhari, Governor Godwin Obaseki, and all other Nigerian leaders in their ability to pilot the affairs of the country for more future fulfilment.

The Benin Monarch who made the call in his Eidel-Kabir message to felicitate with Muslims, and other Nigerians, stressed that good life doesn’t come out of anywhere, also urged Muslims to continually emulate the virtues of obedience and sacrifice to the will of almighty Allah.

 “I call on all Muslims to use the period to pray for President Muhammadu Buhari, Governor Godwin Obaseki, and all other Nigerian leaders in their ability to pilot the affairs of the country so that we can experience much more fulfilment in our future.”

In the statement, signed by Victor Ogiemwwanre, acting chief press secretary to the Oba, the Benin Monarch said “good life doesn’t come out from anywhere. It is created by obedience, humility, patience, and sacrifice.”

The revered Oba urged Muslims not to allow the prevailing security situations to weigh their spirituality down but remain prayerful for peace, unity, and the progress of the country Nigeria to triumph over evil for the betterment of mankind.
