EIRS Pays Tax Verification Visits To 7Up, Mouka Foam

…Assures of a tax friendly administration

Chairman, Edo State Internal Revenue Service (EIRS), Mr. Igbinidun Inneh and his team  yesterday paid a tax verification visit to 7Up Bottling Company Limited, Benin Plant and Mouka Foam Limited Plant.

Represented by Director, Legal Services, Barr. Odabi Kingsley, Igbinidun Inneh informed top management brass independently that the visit aimed to update on tax matters, interact and compliment corporate establishments and individuals with the view to stabilize and perform better.

Commending these companies for operating above par by settling previous audit liabilities for preceding years, Odabi reiterated that the visitation was not a witch hunt exercise, but one assured of tax  friendly administration. 

He encouraged them to interact with the EIRS on grey areas to engender transparency and cut down on liabilities with the issuance of tax credits where necessary.

He thanked them for the  employment opportunity given to members of the community which has helped to curb restiveness in employed youths.

In their separate reactions, the General Manager 7Up Bottling Company Limited, Benin Plant, Mr. Damilare Victor and Mouka Foam Limited Plant Accountant, Mr. Mustapha Lookman appreciated the EIRS team for the visit and asked questions to update on the tax process.
