New AIG Assumes Duty In Benin

Assistant Inspector-General of Police, Mr. Isaac Akinmoyede recently deployed to zone 5 Command assumed duty in Benin City, the Edo State Capital on Monday April 19, 2021.

Prior to his deployment to Zone 5, he was the AIG in-charge of Zone 17 Command comprising Ondo and Ekiti States, according to a statement released by the Zonal Police Public Relations Officer DSP Tijani Momoh.

The release further stated that  AIG Isaac Akinmoyede was the Commissioner of Police, Imo State Police Command until he was promoted to his present rank in 2020. He succeeded AIG Sholla David who retired recently.

Zone 5 police command comprises of Edo and Delta States with headquarters at Adesuwa road, off Sapele road, Benin City.
