EdoJobs: ‘Made In Edo’ Products Set For Exhibition

Edo State Skills Development Agency (EdoJobs) will be exhibiting Made in Edo Products at the Edo Production Hub, to encourage patronage of the locally-made products, beginning from February 11, 2021.


Official said it is part of efforts by the Governor Godwin Obaseki-led administration to encourage local manufacturers. 


Head of the State Skills Development Agency, Mrs. Ukinebo Dare, said at the weekend that the agency in partnership with manufacturers at the Edo Production Centre would have the products on display and invites the general public to its first product exhibition event.

She urged members of the public to take advantage of the exhibition to tour the offerings at the production centre facility located along Sapele Road in Benin City, noting that visitors will have the chance to purchase items at affordable prices.

According to her, “the exhibition will hold from Thursday, February 11 to Saturday, February 13, 2021, between Time: 11am – 3pm daily, adding that visitors will be able to order household and office items, and make wholesale purchases at unbeatable prices.

Ukinebo said local manufacturers participating at the exhibition include artisans in welding and fabrication, recycling and waste management, polythene making, printing press, clothing/shoemaking factory.

She added that all COVID-19 protocols will be adhered to during the exhibition, calling on residents to come for a detailed inspection of the production activities at the hub.
