Edo Begins Markets’ Fumigation

The Edo State Government has commenced fumigation of major markets across the state in line with the directive for the markets be shut down and fumigated.

Sellers of food and other vital commodities have been relocated to designated primary and secondary schools in close proximity to the shut markets.

As at 11am on Wednesday, April 8, 2020, major markets within the Benin City metropolis such as the Oba Market are already being fumigated.
