Ize-Iyamu To Embark On Youths Mentoring Leadership Skills Program

Former Secretary to Edo state government, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu will on Saturday this week, host a Mentoring forum in Benin City, as part of his efforts to empower Nigerian youths with strong leadership, political and business skills.

Tagged POI Mentoring Forum , according to one of the organisers, Tinyan Otuamagie the event is a platform for youths aged 14-35, who are eager to be active participants in nation building.

She said, “Pastor Ize-Iyamu believes that youths are an essential part of nation building and are blessed with great ideas and potentials that are needed in our society today, so the POI Mentoring Forum’s mission is to build their capacities”.

“POI has witnessed Nigerian youths making great strides in their various communities. Youths have made great contributions in the narrative within the political space and the redefining of the expectations of leaders in Africa”.

” These are Youths who have changed how we do business in Nigeria through innovations and use of technology. This is why Pastor Ize-Iyamu has created this mentoring forum to meet the needs of our youths”.

On the format of the Mentoring Forum, Ms Otuamagie said, ” It offers seminars, workshops and interactive training sessions that are targeted at youths who want to be more engaged in their communities”

She added that, “in addition  the forum will have industry leaders and experts from various fields and other youths on hand  to train and share their personal and professional experiences with participants in an interactive atmosphere”.
