ALICE EFIONAYI: THE MATRIARCH OF EFIONAYI NOWANSAYE FAMILY GOES HOME

The final burial rites for the late Mrs. Alice Emwinromwankhoe Efionayi, nee Odobo, the matriarch of the Efionayi Nowansaye Ilekhuoba family of Oluku community in Ovia North East Local Government Area of Edo State, have been slated to hold from the 21st to 23rd of November 2019.
According to the final burial program, signed by the first daughter of the deceased, Madam Osarumwense Efionayi, the late Mrs Alice Efionayi, a renowned community leader, died on Thursday, 31st of October, 2019, at the age of 80 years, and is survived by four children, eighteen grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
Madam Osarumwense Efionayi said her late mother was a ‘strong example of a virtuous woman, whose supportive credentials for all her biological and nuclear children are legions. “My mother was very caring, peaceful, loving and kind. We are all going to miss her greatly.”
Deaconesses Faith Nowinta, wife of Alltimepost.com Nigeria Bureau Chief, Igbotako Nowinta and the first grand daughter of the deceased said: “my grandmother was an icon of immeasurable dimension, a lover of children, deeply religious, kind-hearted, a peace lover and generous. She stood indefatigable for us all, though an illiterate her love for education knew no bounds.She will remain ever green in our hearts.”
Miss Otaoghene Nowinta, an undergraduate of Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, Edo State, who is equally the first great granddaughter of the deceased,  described her great grandmother as a’ priceless personality,who sacrificed everything about her for her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. 
“Iyenokua (grandma) was very compassionate, altruistic and God fearing.Iyenokua was a rare gem.I am indeed proud to know that she lived a quiet,eventful and fulfilled life.May her gentle soul rest in peace.”
According to the burial program, late Mrs. Alice Efionayi’s final journey commences on Thursday 21st of November, 2019, with a Service of Songs at her residence at Oluku, Benin City, while the social dance and entertainment of guests will be held on Saturday at the same venue.
