Nigerian Army Field Training Excercise Begins October 28

Kontagora – The Nigerian Army Corps of Artillery (NACA) has announced that it will hold its Field Training Exercise code named “Ex VULCAN GLOW VII” from Monday 28 October to Friday November 1, 2019.

The exercise will take place at the Military Training Range Kachia, Kaduna State.

This was contained in a press release signed by the Assistant Director, Army Public Relations, Captain Mohammed Maidawa in Kontagora, Niger State during the week. 

The release stated that during the period of the excercise there would be mass movement of troops, military weapons and equipment as well as sound of gunshots.

It however advised members of the public  especially residents of Kachia and its environs not to panic, but keep away from the general area of the exercise.

While adding that the exercise would climax on Friday, November 1, with a fire power demonstration, the statement further explained that on Saturday, November 2, a pulling out parade of some former retired Corps Commanders, Major Generals and Brigadier-Generals of NACA would take place at the Nigerian Army School of Artillery parade ground.
