Edo State: Owina Primary School Attack.

… Mr Valentine Asuen led thugs to disrupt proceeding.
… Voters fought back to repel APC attempt to steal ballot and manipulate collation.
… Shaaba only sin is dumbing APC for PDP

Our attention has been drawn to a statement credited to the Edo State APC Youth Leader, Mr Valentine Asuen, alleging that Mr. Rotimi Adams attacked Owina Primary school in ward 3 of Oredo local government area during the elections that held on Saturday, February 23.

While reporting the governor’s visit to the victims of the attack, the state APC propaganda handle,  @ www.edoinsafehands.com, made unsubstantiated comments about Shaaba and exposed the desperation of its party as they realize every passing moment that APC has once again been rejected by Edo people.

You will recall that we informed the world that our members, especially many of the recently decamped, were been harassed and intimidated with arrest and detention. You will also recall that I specifically mentioned Shaaba as one of those that they were desperate to remove from circulation. His only sin is that he dumbed APC and joined PDP. He was no where near Owina Primary School on the said day.

What is curious is what the APC youth leader and his thugs were doing there. Mr. Valentine Asuen is not a registered voter in Owina Primary school in Ward 3. It’s even more ridiculous that APC members were the only ones that were attacked. The story is not only concocted, but laughable. … thugs attacks a school, singles out APC members for attack. Other voters and INEC staff spared…!

Why play lip service to peaceful elections. Isn’t it absurd that the governor is only interested in the purported attack on his party members, but no word on the attack on Western Boys High school, Payne Primary School, Urhokpota hall and many others!

We call for calm from our members and the good people of Edo state.

We call on the security agencies to do their jobs and not allow anyone tele-guide them.

Signed
