Breaking News: Two Die As Yellow Fever Hits Edo State

Some villages in Uhunmwode local government area of Edo State have been thrown into mourning, following the death of two persons suspected to have caught yellow fever.in their locality.

Reports have it that the deaths occurred barely a week of the outbreak of the
deadly disease.

Some of the symptoms exhibited by the victims, according to reports include high fever, stomach pains, vomiting, nose bleeding, etc.

When contacted, the Edo State commissioner for Health, Dr. David Osifo confirmed the incident but, debunked rumors making round that the ailment was Lassa Fever or Ebola.

He noted that his team for disease control has been mobilized to the affected communities to contain the strange disease.
