Owan West APC Leaders, Stakeholders Pass Implicit Confidence Vote On Hon. Asein

The leadership of the All Progressive Congress (APC) Owan West Local Government Area of Edo state, has refuted and condemned the purported suspension of Hon Asien Ojo Victor representing Owan West Constituency of the State House of Assembly.

The condemnation is coming on the heels of the alleged suspension published in Vanguard of July, 2018 over what they alleged as anti party activities by a parallel member of the party in ward 2, Mr. Lucky Aroye.

The message contained in a communiqué issued and endorsed by 12 leaders across the council stated that the alleged suspension by the aggrieved member is unconstitutional and has no effect.

They further pass votes of confidence on Hon Asien stewardship as their representative in the state House of Assembly.

The communiqué thus reads: “we the stakeholders of the All Progressive condemn, in strong terms the purported suspension of Hon Asien Ojo Victor from the party by some elements that are not comfortable with his rising political profile.

That they pass a vote of implicit confidence on Hon Asien Ojo Victor is the best representative owan west has ever had in the state house of assembly since 1999.”

The communiqué further expressed total support for his legislative activities and urged all to continue to support him.
