Breaking: Kidnapped Senator Dino Melaye Regains Freedom

Melaye, has regained his freedom from his abductors. Sen. Dino Melaye Senator Melaye who took to his twitter handle to announce his freedom said he spent 11 hours in what he called the wilderness.

It is not clear what exactly happened or how he regained his freedom but the senator thanked God and Nigerians for letting him escape “dangerous attacks” and for their prayers, respectively.

According to him, “I thank God once again for escaping another dangerous attack. I also thank Nigerians for their prayers and show of Love. Spent 11 hours in the wilderness traumatized but God preserved me. God is the best and in whom ONLY I trust.

They will continue to try. WE SHALL OVERCOME,” Recall that Senator representing Bayelsa East, Senator Ben Murray-Bruce had announced the alleged abduction of Senator Melaye. However, the Police had said it was not aware the Senator was abducted.

So far, it is unclear if Senator Dino Melaye paid ransom to his abductors to regain his freedom or not. Also, the court had adjourned his trial in a case of attempted suicide filed against him by the police.
