In less than twenty four hours after the meeting between President Muhammadu Buhari and governors of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Abuja, ended in deadlock, the governors appeared to have had a change of mind and agreed to conduct fresh Congress for officers in the three tiers of government.
President Buhari had met with the APC governors at the Presidential Villa, Abuja over tenure elongation of the National Working Committee, NWC, in which majority of them had insisted on the tenure elongation for the NWC.
This is as the 10-man committee set up on Tuesday by the National Chairman of APC, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun to resolve the tenure elongation logjam has promised to submit its report today.
