History was today created, as the progressive government of Governor Godwin Obaseki in his determination to put Edo state in the world stage as a developed city and an economic hub.
The ground breaking ceremony of the Benin -Industria park, Iyanomo located at Ikpoba Okha Local government area, will no doubt put Edo on the path of progress.
The park which will open up the community and neighbouring communities is designed to have every sector of our economy, from banks, health centres, different markets for various goods,police station, manufacturing industries, the list is endless. Edo is pose to be in the league of the Dubai, China, New York and Chicago of this world. This will also no doubt increase productivity in Edo and Nigeria in general.
According to Vice president Prof Osinbanjo the industrial park will provide 170 ,000 direct and indirect job opportunities and also encourage local content.
Politician thinks of the next election but technocrats thinks of the next generation, Obaseki is an astute technocrat and his tenacious will to lead Edo state forward on consolidated progress.
In Just one year, Governor Godwin Obaseki has layed solid foundations for the progress of this state.
