Bob-izua Shopping Complex At Mission Road Demolished.

A very popular shopping complex belonging to politician and business mogul, Chief Osamede Adun, popularly called Bob Izua, along Mission Road in Benin City has been demolished by the Edo state government on orders of governor Godwin Obaseki.

The Shopping Mall allegedly built on Government Land,without approval and in contravention of Edo State Town Planning Laws was brought down this morning, signposting a return to normalcy and enforcement of extant rules of legal engagements.

 

 

While some have applauded the development and called on the government to extend it to all as no one should be spared, others allege that due notice was not served before the demolition, as they sense some form of victimization. Some persons allerge that he did not following guidelines and the approved plan, that he built on walk-way, and that no parking lot. He was givien approval to built 50 stores and parking lot, he went ahead and built 150 stores with no parking lot.
