Former Inspector-General of Police, Mr. Solomon Arase, has introduced his successor, Mr. Ibrahim Idris, to State House correspondents.
Arase spoke shortly after he led Idris to meet President Muhammadu Buhari at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
He said Idris’ appointment would be in acting capacity until he is confirmed by the Council of State.
Ibrahim Kpotun Idris, an Assistant Inspector General of police, from Niger State, as the new acting Inspector General, promised to build on the legacy left behind by Arase.
