Edo Civil Society Organizations have rejected the recently concluded Continuous Voter Registration in Edo State, describing it as a deliberate attempt by INEC to disenfranchise the people in the forthcoming governorship election in the state.
In a terse statement earlier in the week, the organizations’ Public Relations Officer, Comrade Osaze Edigin said: “It is on record that majority of the people were not able to register owing to the few days earmarked for the exercise, faulty and inadequate machines, untrained personnel etc. We reject it in its entirety,” he said.
