Hon. Yakubu Dogara has defeated former minority leader, Hon Femi Gbajabiamila , to emerge as the elected speaker to lead the 8th House of Representatives.
Dogara who represents Bogoro/Dass/Tafawa-Balewa Federal constituency of Bauchi State defeated his contender, after scoring 182 vote and Gbajabiamila’s 174 vote.
