The Lagos state government has cancelled its monthly environmental exercise to boost PVC collection. The sanitation exercise was initially scheduled for Saturday, 31 January, 2015 (Today)
This decision is in response to the wide complaint that many are yet to collect their PVCs.
The monthly exercise normally entails restriction of movement of vehicles and residents for three hours, between 7 and 10am.
Lagos State, yet to achieve up to 60 percent success in the collection of the PVCs decided to cancel the exercise so that residents can have free movement to INEC offices to collect their cards.(Daily Post)
