Speaker Aminu Tambuwal Picks Presidential Nomination Form

Aminu Tambuwal, the speaker of the House of Representative has picked the notice of intent and the nomination forms to run for the office of the President of Nigeria on the platform of the All Progressive Congress, APC.

Aminu Tambuwal had earlier tipped to run as governor of his state, Sokoto. But the speaker received the presidential nomination form on Thursday said his spokesperson, Imam Imam.

Imam said, “Earlier today, some friends and political associates of the speaker notified him that they have brought the forms for him.”

Aminu Tambuwal’s indication of interest brings to five the number of the persons who is vying for the nation’s top job on the platform of the party. (AIT)
