Madam Omorotionmwan Celebrates 79 Birthday

Last Wednesday in Boston, Massachusetts, an Elder, Community Leader, a Humanitarian and “Mother of all people,” Madam Cecilia Aluotule Omorotionman turned 79 years old.

On Saturday September 13, 2014, her birthday was celebrated.

Born on September 10, 1935 in Obiaruko, Delta State of Nigeria, Madam Omorotionmwan, by the special Grace of God, is also a citizen of the United States of America by naturalization.

She  has always dedicated her life to the service of humanity. Her birthday celebration was marked by prayers to and adoration of God.

She told Alltimepost.com that she would continue to give thanks and dedicate her life to God as she counted her blessings.

Madam Omrotionmwan was surrounded by some of her children, grandchildren, other family members and friends to cut the birthday cake, followed by entertainment.

She  has a lot for which she would remain thankful and grateful to God, especially for sparing her life and those of her children and grandchildren in a recent fire outbreak that gutted her 12 Bennett Circle residence in Lynn Massachusetts on August 5, 2014.

She was sleeping when the fire started, but God used one of her little grandchildren, Destiny Omorotionmwan to wake her up and she eventually evacuated to safety.

Despite the devastating impact of the fire, neither was any soul lost nor anyone injured. She thanked the Nigerian community in Boston for the support they have given the family so far.

Her son, Deacon Victor Omorotionmwan – an active member of the Nigerian community in Boston, serving apex Benin organization, The Benin Club of Massachusetts as speaker and a humanitarian/philanthropic organization, The League of Committed Friends as financial secretary respectively also thanked God for sparing their lives.

Meanwhile, a special fund has been set up to support the Omorotionmwan’s family and other victims of the incident, including Pastor Peter Osazuwa, Mr. Peter Omo Osagie and their respective families to get their lives back on track.
